Venice made easy map

Venice mapLaminated card stock, folds to pamphlet size. Landmarks clearly marked. I especially like the section showing Venice waterbus lines with stops marked.
A must have!

I have used both the Rome and Paris map books and found them to be fabulous!! Easy to carry, easy to read and compact so you don't have to fold those miserable city maps. It breaks down the map by neighbourhood and specifies some of the things to see. We use it mainly for the map. Throw away those hotel maps!! Loved them so much that I bought a 2nd Rome, 2 additional copies of Paris for friends, Venice, Florence, Barcelona & London. Highly recommend them.
This should be available for all cities

Reasonably lightweight with small food out maps, this is a general guide to locations, highlighted sites, hostelries and eateries as well as transport. The listings of bars, restaurants, hotels and similar sites are limited, but good. Organized by locality, one does not have to jockey back and forth between sections to find anything.Perhaps an improved version might be a digital app for tablets that can be updatable by subscription.

I am really a fan of these Knopf MapGuides. The one for Venice is the 4th guide I bought. The idea of dividing a town map into many small map sections (one map section per double page) complete with short information about lots of sights, restaurants and shopping on the same page is great. No big maps to wrestle with and additional travel books to carry around! Unfortunately I noticed a problem with the Venice guide. The map for the water buses (vaporetti) around Venice is not completely up to date. Some of the water buses line assignations are not correct anymore. That impacted us during our outer island tour to Murano and Burano. Fortunately we had a local map given to us by the hotel that we could use to match them up. Otherwise great as always!
Great Map!

A detailed and great map for travelling. Pop out maps provide overviews by city areas. Venice is a difficult city to navigate, but this map made it a whole lot easier. I used it all of the time -- not heavy and easy to carry. The Florence, Paris, and Milan versions were equally as useful.

The Knopf mapguides are the best travel tool. Compact, easy to take along, they put it all (where to stay, eat shop and what to see) in one place. I love them. Although I still purchase other guides for background, the Knopf is the guide that goes in the bag and on the plane with me.

Knopf publishes the best guide I have ever seen. Right amount of details, folding maps, easy to use and carry around. It is unfortunate that it covers a relatively small number of cities.Knopf MapGuide: Venice (Knopf Mapguides)
