Features

It stimulates hair growth because of the increase blood circulation to the scalp when it is applied through an oil massage or in the shampoo or conditioner. This is one of the reasons you find this oil in products for baldness or hair thinning. Adding a few drops of this oil into your daily beauty regimen is an easy and effective way to achieve healthy and radiant skin. It contains menthol that has a cooling effect and at the same time, works to brighten up the dull skin. Peppermint can balance the pH level of the skin and it also checks the production of oil on the skin. So it helps in reducing acne, blackheads, redness of the skin and the rashes on the skin. You may add 2 drops of the peppermint oil to your face wash and wash your face twice a day. Peppermint oil contains menthol, which is good for the skin because it creates a cooling sensation. Furthermore, it nourishes dull skin and improves the texture of oily or greasy skin. Native to Europe, this peppermint herb has a long history for medicinal uses like stomach problems, muscle pains, and even headaches. Peppermint essential oil, botanical name Mentha piperita, is extracted by steam distillation and is an extremely potent essential oil. It blends well with basil, bergamot, cajeput, cedarwood, eucalyptus, lemon, lime, mandarin, marjoram, niaouli, pine, rosemary, spearmint, and thyme.

Great use for bugs and other uninvited guests

5.0 out of 5.0 by Debbie Prackitas on January 15, 2019
I researched Organic Peppermint Oil and I read that it is great to keep bugs and other vermin out of your home. My neighbor has had mice because of the way she keeps her home. I did not want that problem and because I have 2 cats I did not want anything toxic in my home. I sprinkled it all around my kitchen underneath the stove, kitchen, front door, etc. Since I started using it I have not had one uninvited "guest" in my home. It is also important to know that I came home one day and my cats had killed a small mouse near my door. I almost had a heart attack and decided to take things in my own hands and so that is where the research came in. I recommend this oil if you have any kind of problem. I have not seen anything since I started using it. I bought one for my neighbor and she doesn't have cats and she has not seen anything at all. It also smells great and makes walking into your door of your apartment a pleasure. No horrible toxic smell just a lovely peppermint odor. Buy it...it works.
after a good 8 hrs or so

I use this as a natural pest spray, especially for spiders. It has a very very very peppermint smell. It lingers for quite awhile as well. It was really strong smelling but after it wore off, after a good 8 hrs or so, it really works. I also use peppermint as a bug spray and I will use this once again, I will just add more water to cut the smell. I do recommend though. .
Say Goodbye to Insects, Especially Spiders !!

5.0 out of 5.0 by Christina on February 5, 2019
I use peppermint essential oil to keep insect pests away. I dilute it with water, in a spray bottle and use it in corners of walls, outside my doors, under my cabinets, and on the floors. My flooring is not wood. It is laminate. I would rub a bit of the oil and use it in the corners of my wood floors. I reside in the south, and I’ve never seen even one creepy crawly. I’m very careful regarding crumbs, or other food products, as well. This oil is strong enough, and makes my home smell lovely. It does not stain my walls. I have small dogs and it is safe, per my veterinarian. Highly recommended.
Ants shun peppermint like the plague.

Got it to clear my counter of marauding ants. Put some on some cotton balls in a few strategic areas and it kept them away for a couple weeks before I re-applied it. Discovered that most insects and MICE don’t like the smell of peppermint....
Multi useful

I use this for a number of things. I put some in a water bottle mixes with water and spray in my kids hair to keep life out, also use this on sunburn and helped heal it faster. I even used this on my son's acne and helped clear it up and on hives. It helps dry out the oil in the rain and gives a smooth cool feeling
All these oils smell crappy and fake

None of the oils I found ever impressed me and none smell like they’re supposed to. This is effective and cheap, so it’s my new go to.
Smells wonderful

5.0 out of 5.0 by Breanna on January 15, 2019
Good product. Before I even opened the bottle the packaging smelt like peppermint. It was such a strong pleasant smell. I use it in my hair mixed in with other carrier oils such as jojoba oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, olive oil and the pepper smells great. It's very strong. It had my hair smelling like peppermint. Of course after a few days the smell went away. It's a small bottle. It can fit in the palm of your hand but you really don't need a lot of essential oil if you are putting it in your hair or skin. Just a few drops will do mixed in carrier oils. I really enjoyed it. It smells nice and because it smelled so good it brighten my mood.
